International Patients

The physicians and staff of the Weill Cornell Eye Associates are committed to excellence in the provision of a complete range of ophthalmic services, including cataract, cornea and external disease, retinal and vitreous disorders, glaucoma, pediatric ophthalmology, oculoplastics, and neuro-ophthalmology. Furthermore, these services cover the entire range of complexity, ranging from services such as accurate eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions, cataract extraction, macular degeneration treatment, to the most complex intraocular surgeries, such as keratoprosthesis (artificial cornea replacement) and vitreoretinal surgery for diabetic retinopathy or complicated retinal detachment. Our commitment to excellence is distinguishing and, in addition, provides patients with a superb specialist support system throughout the entire New York-Presbyterian Hospital System.

If you are visiting from another country and would like to schedule a visit with one of our ophthalmic specialists, we ask that you contact our International Services Department at (212) 746-4455. Upon doing so, you will speak directly with a specially trained representative who will explain the variety of services that are offered, making your visit to the Weill Cornell Eye Associates a pleasant and most productive one. Interpreter Services

Interpreter services are provided by NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center at no charge. If you would like to have a medical interpreter present throughout your appointment, we ask that you request this service while scheduling your appointment. If your language is not listed on the "We Speak Your Language" brochure, don't worry. We have interpreters for 140 languages, including American Sign Language. Our interpreters are fluent in your language and understand medical terminology, making your visit here at the Weill Cornell Eye Associates as informative as possible.
